A flip-up boom mic on the left earcup provides unidirectional pickup and echo cancellation, as well as auto on/off and mute functions. Rocking a 50mm dynamic driver, the closed-back over-ear Quantum 800 delivers an active or wireless frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, while its passive or wired frequency range extends up to 40 kHz. In addition to QuantumSOUND virtual surround sound, these headphones also feature QuantumENGINE software. Users can employ this software application to adjust various sound settings on the headphones, as well as the RGB lighting effect found on both earcups.
The Quantum 800 features leather-wrapped memory foam earpads to help you stay comfortable during long game sessions, as well as a 14-hour battery life and 2-hour charge time to keep the action going. Using the included USB wireless dongle, this headset is compatible with Windows, Mac, PlayStation, and VR platforms. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity allows these headphones to also work with Nintendo Switch, and the included audio cable provides stereo audio for all platforms, including Xbox.
